Nachiketa Tal Trek a Pictorial Lake in Uttarkashi

Lying amid dense forests of Oaks and Pines, Nachiketa Tal Trek is a lake on Bhagirathi River’s bank in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand at an elevation of 2457 m.

Beside this lake is a temple of Nag Devta and every year during the festival of Nag Panchami villagers visit this divine place. It holds a mythical story that this Lake was named after the son of Uddalak.
